Hey folks! So recently I snagged a JG Bar 10 pre-owned for $60. It is currently on its way. My plan is to turn this thing into a HPA beast using the Wolverine Bolt engine.

Here is my list so far

JG Bar 10 -$60
Wolverine Bolt - $300
Action army hop chamber - $60
Autobot 70 deg silicone Bucking - $10
Lapped barrel by Silicone Sword or EDGI baerel- $58-$120 TBD
Scope - Tbd (possibly keeping the scope on my current rifle)
Suppressor - TBD (thinking a silverback suppressor)

I already have some Archwick mags coming in as well as a pressfit/loctited receiver and barrel from Silicone Sword.

Starting this thread to track the progress of the build as well as post updates and get feedback.

I always recommend a masada arm for the action army chamber. They just seem to work well in every build.

Yeah I've seen a lot of good stuff about it. Silicone Sword is actually going to do his SS nub as well as the o ring mod and TDC mod on the AA chamber. Might pick up a Masada arm eventually but want to try his product first.

Also going to have him lapp a barrel for me if I dont end up going the EDGI route.

Alright folks so I sold my Tac 41 and have the needed parts for this build in coming.

I ended up with the following:

JG Bar 10
Wolverine Bolt - electric
Action Army VSR 10 hop chamber
Maple Leaf Autobot 70 deg Silicone
EDGI 407mm Barrel
Nov scope set
Modify Suppressor
Wolverine Cat 5 reg

The Bar 10 should get here today. The Action Army hop chamber will have the O ring mod and SS nub mod by our own @SiliconeSword .

Really looking forward to how this turns out.

Did you consider a TDC? If you do, I can recommend the Tridos. If not, I think the Masada arm and your other choices will be awesome.

Yeah @SiliconeSword is installing a custom TDC and nub that he calls the SS nub. I might go for the Masada arm in the future but I have had several things done by him and know they are super high quality.

I've used the tridos in a previous gun and it was excellent.

Used BAR 10 got here. The stock is dirty, the mag catch spring broken, and the cylinder greasy. Got some work to do before the engine gets here lol.

Alright installed the trigger contacts and the bolt. Now I need to have my new receiver get here so I can install the bolt.

So far the modifications are incredibly easy. Like falling off a log.
