Zero trigger is a good choice ;) the barrel and Bore up not so, on a forum over here they did a comparison test and a standard bore cylinder and a 6.03mm x 450mm barrel out performed everything else for accuracy , and I do mean everything ;) guys were even buying 650mm barrels and then ending up cutting them to 450mm. If you must have a long barrel 480mm is the absalute longest that was deemed any good. Better to spend your money on a 150 spring and the suggested barrel, a nine ball hop rubber too plus possibly a bearing spring guide, and most importantly of all Heavy Ammo, .28s or above is best :)

The zero trigger has been suggested by every player I know that uses it.

a 6.01mm tightbore of some manufacture and a hop up bucking that is appropriate to the strength of spring an expected velocity is a excellent start. Velocity upgrades are dependent on your fields and groups rules. Anything more than a 150 spring will require a zero trigger or V trigger, less than 150 spring you can get by, as I do, with hardened trigger sears. you may want to consider a metal spring guide when you upgrade springs.

I absolutely love the change the Teflon coated cylinder made in my VSR10. IT made it so much easier to cycle the bolt back and forth (I have a 150 spring) I recommend that expense.

Erm, dunno really fella - it was a G-spec with the improved hop, and I ran a 430mm Systema (I think) barrel out through the silencer so that the actual outer barrel had to be drilled to accomodate it. Clearly that meant the inner barrel was totally stabilised and couldn't move in any way.

Standard hop (although I would use a Firefly hard now) and the rest of the internals were PSS10. Running it about 450ish FPS with SGM's it was just ridiculous - perhaps I was lucky and got a "good" one as sometimes happens but essentially I think the two biggest factors were barrel length and hop.

430-480 is about optimal for length - any longer and it seems to throw your shots off. The hop was aftermarket but man, the difference was noticeable after I Installed it.

Luck maybe, lots of people have similar-specced rifles.
