Also I am wondering what does the different tank sizes mean even though there are 0.2l 0.8l 1l tanks and everyone takes 3000psi?

A co2 adapter + regulator (Wolverine Wraith + Storm HighPressure) will be the easiest solution. You have to change the co2 bulbs every 50-80 shots, but you dont have a line hanging around.
I personaly run my hpa sniper on a tank and line, i dont mind the line much however you have to find a solution to refill the tank. If you have easy access to a refill method i would go with a small 13ci/0,2l Hpa Tank + High pressure regulator (a 13ci tank will give you 500-700 shots). For me the co2 cap changing is more inconvenient than the line and i always have a scuba bottle in my van to refill at games if needed...

You should skim through this thread. Some of the info is dated, but still relevant. (mostly the regulator parts being dated) http://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/53-hpa-systems/9841-airsoft-gases-external-gas-rigs.html

HPA tanks come in 2 flavors, 3000psi and 4500psi. The ci/L (cubic inch or liters) is the volume.

Guerilla air, Myth, Ninja Paintball, Custom Products. I would opt for a Ninja tank with SLP reg if you are looking for a tank.

Other wise a CO2 capsule setup is your other choice.

i use a redline slp reg with a high pressure mod, but its a expansive way to go - are there other slp regs on the market than can go above 140psi?
You mean the SFR? There are other low pressure regs on the market, but if you need to go above 140psi you need to look at a different regulator all together, but that begs the question of why? The one I am referring to is mounted directly to the tank as the tank interface.

yes i run the sfr with the 200psi upgrade. i know the mancraft units run on lower psi couse the solenoid holds a higher volumne (although its rated to over 200psi max). for my wolverine bolt (rated to 180psi max) i need 140-150+psi to go above 3j. in eu, specialy on milsim events you can run 3-3,5j or even higher on springers - so "normal" 120-140psi regs can be limiting.

I dont think any of the "airsoft" regulators are going to push over at most 180. (Have not really been looking either...) I'll look around and see what I can dig up.

i know the wolverine storm hp and the mancraft regulator can go high - both non slp. the redline sfr is the only slp reg i know that can be upgraded to high pressure. i only bought it couse i run other hpa stuff too and hoped the slp system would provide a more stable performance with high rof setups. just for a sniper i would propably bought a wolverine or mancraft reg becouse they have a smaller profile.
