Hello, I am looking for some advice on fixing a problem with a silverback SRS a1 pull bolt version. I just recently got mine and have been experimenting with upgrades, one of which is a spring. I purchased a Silverback M160 APS 13mm Type Spring for SRS Pull Bolt Version,

Aside from a barrel upgrade and a rhop mod I have not changed anything on this gun.

The problem I am having with this news spring is when I pull the bolt back the bolt will just shoot back forward and will not stay set back. The gun kind of fired a bit when the bolt slams forward and makes it impossible to use my upgraded spring.

So, I am very unsure of what I can do to fix this problem, and I would like to see my gun shooting at 500fps. Can someone please offer some useful solutions to this?

Possibly a bit of a late reply. Silverback did experience a manufacturing issue with the angle on the back of the pull bolt which the trigger sear catches. A significant number of incorrectly manufactured parts were sold. This might be your issue. That or too much preload applied on the trigger.
