hello
I seem to be having a problem with my tokyo marui vsr 10...
the problem is that when i cock the gun and push the bolt forwards the cylinder seems to be catching on the bottom of the hop up unit...
this makes a metel against metal scratch and clank...
there is a fair bit of wear on the cylinder head because of this.
it is right on the nozzle of the cylinder.
cheers and help would be appreciated

First, make an intro.

Do you have both cylinder guide rings? Or is there something stuck in the top of the front one that is pushing the cylinder down? Besides that I can't think of anything else that would cause that to happen. Is the nozzle of the cylinder head catching or it it the edge of the base?

Hello...
thanks for that i will cheak later on...
i would like to ask another question about compatability...
i will be getting laylax upgrades but in future i will be getting pdi reciever and pdi outer barrel( i realise many people disagree and think its a waste) because ive stripped a few screws on the top of the original reciever so i want a reciever that i know will have better qaulity metals in it
cheers again

You've stripped screws on top of the receiver?... Check to see if one of the scope rail screws is causing the cylinder problem. Over tighten the screws and they can poke through into the receiver and cause all sorts of problems.
