Im a corpsman besides iraq, im a converting paintballer, never played airsoft but am excited about playing my first game next weekend.
I still dont have a rifle yet and still shopping around.
I made my own ghillie suit from my cammies, all for paintball. and realized that the game of paintball in southern california is not for me. I wanted to do more scenario based games.
other hobbies are martial arts.

weather is awesome. i havent met any airsoft snipers in cali yet. everyone seems big on just assaulting with aeg's. im an hm2

Good stuff. I'm sceduled to do FMSS sometime early in March, and then after that I'm on a Sea Duty billet with 1st MAR Div, no clue where to yet though. But if I get a chance to stay settled in, I'll more than likely have my Maruzen and ghillie suit sent on down.

Is there a lot of places to play close to the base?

Actually your looking at a 30 Min drive away from everything.Theres a paintball field on base.not sure if they accomodate Airsoft
