Hey everyone, I just joined the forum earlier today to ask questions about my gun. I have just started sniping this past year, I use a UTG MK96, currently all stock parts but I am planning to upgrade, feel free to reply with part suggestions! Anyways I'm 16, I play at a field called Poco Loco in Schwenksville Pennsylvania. Biggest pet peeve is cheaters, cannot stand them at all! I'm friendly and open to suggestions on my gear. If you plan on upgrading it apparently the trigger boxes will break after a few 500fps plus shots so it might be a good idea to get a reinforced or upgraded trigger box and trigger sears, stuff like that.

Oh, yes.

If the trigger box is made out of plastic, it will definitely snap in half within the first 3 weeks, even on the stock spring. I went with a metal shelled replacement, and it's still kicking 3 years later, with no special sears.

Not many people go down the L96 route, but there are plenty of upgrade parts available. Most of them stay in stock too, due to the huge population of VSR-10 style rifles. I hope to see you posting some more!
