..hey everyone. new To this forum. Been cruising the threads and picking up alot of intel. I'm from the Buffalo NY region and have been doing airsoft about 3yrs now. I don't stick to any particular role, but do enjoy the Sniper/DMR concept. I haven't really dabbled in the Sniper role but have played around in a limited basis with the DMR role. For that I run a pretty much stock TM M14. If I could find the best of all worlds I would get deeper involved. If only you could take all the benifits of gas/spring and electric and come up with a system that doesn't cost real steel type money.

Welcome to the forum..
There are some hybrids around but they involve gas/electric and since they are custom jobs they may not cost much if you're a machinist or they can worth a lot if you assign a machinist to made it for you!

Welcome. I like the m4. If its metal its a go. Dmr you say? I would get the quietest gearbox I could find, go with a 6.03 tightbore barrel, and a good hop up bucking. Combined with a little camo and sniper tactics....

Welcome to the forum.

What exactly are you looking for?
..lol, the ultimate of course. To start with I'm a lefty and getting into the spring bolt guns is out. Follow up shots will be too hard. I live in NY so gas is out 75% of the year

Actually my TM M14 is the quietest gun I have heard......it's gotten me through more than a couple of engagements with it's stealth. Just put a new tightbore and bucking in. Goint to try it out this weekend to see if there's an improvement. Not knowing the tech side at all...I'm told the TM hop ups are unique........I do see decent range on it, but I wanted to see a little more umph in it as well. I've also heard the TM 14's don't tend to upgrade well

Nice looking m14. I'm slightly jealous ... I also hear that a standard Tokyo Marui hop up is amazing!

Welcome to the forum. Converting a BASR to a left isn't that hard actually. http://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/showthread.php?t=3537
That will tell you pretty much all you need to know if you ever need to convert it.
Welcome to the forum, nice looking M14 you have there!
