Alright, ive been scouring the internet for weeks. Trying to find a sniper rifle that best suits my needs, and personal desires for looks and performance. That being said, the M24 style in my opinion is the best looking Sniper rifle on the market. And i know there are many posts about this, but in all the ones ive read, i never seemed to find the answer to my questions. And i have heard different things from almost every site i go to.

If there is anyone that has personally owned, and upgraded, or done work on the rifles i will soon mention, please help me get to the facts. Not just the ranting of ill-informed kids which i soo often find on the internet.

The rifles I'm interested in are these;
Echo 1 M28 $175 ( Source ASGI )
Javelin M24 $175 ( Source ASGI )
UK arms M24 $104 ( Source ASGI )
Snow Wolf M24 $99 ( Source Airsplat )

My main question about the these 4 rifles, is. Are they the same rifles? Everyone seems to have their own theory. From what I've heard The Echo 1 is a mix of VSR and APS2 with some proprietary parts. The Javelin is fully APS2. I have no idea about the UK arms. But I've heard that the Snow Wolf and the Javelin is exactly the same gun. Is any of this true? If there is a difference between all these rifles, what are they? Thank you for your time, i hope I'm not wasting it.

I agree with the guys above. SW and Javelin are good buys. I personally don't like Echo 1, but that is because I got a lemon from them and then had to deal with Evike's horrible customer service. It left me with a negative view of both.

Cool, thank you all. I'm not much of an Echo 1 fan either... I feel like most of their guns have too heavy a spring stock. And its settled. I'm going with the Snow Wolf... Now to decide what to do with it...

I would definitely go with the javelin, being it is fully APS2 and you being new to sniping, being all one system will help you understand your rifle a lot easier. Good luck!

I have two friends with the Echo 1 M28 and it is almost impressive I guess you could say. One friends gun was shipped to him and it didn't work right off the bat cause either the gun or (both) mags had a feeding problem. They did send him a new one for free though and that one works alright for now. The other friend had one that worked but broke over time. Sadly, it didn't break the whole gun, just little parts of it that made it the most annoying gun to use in the world. Sometimes it would slam-fire, sometimes the slightest touch of the trigger would shoot it, sometimes the trigger would get stuck and to shoot it you had to push the trigger forward, and sometimes, it wouldn't shoot and you had to pull the safety back and forth and pushing it back into "fire" would make it shoot. Needless to say, when I was using this, it cost me a lot of kills and got me killed more often than I want to admit. Seriously the most annoying thing ever. When it does work though, its an alright gun.

I have the javelin m24 it pretty good a few things if u plan on upgrading some of the parts don't fit perfectly like a pdi hop up didnt. I ended up modding the gun to fit it If u plan on doing this and need help with modding it PM me
As for the options I would go with either the javelin m24 or SW m24 the other two are hard to find upgrades for
But if you really plan on upgrading it a lot get the classic army m24. pdi makes a whole line of parts made just for this gun
