Hi guys. Hope this hasn't already been asked but I'm quite new to airsoft and very new to the idea of upgrading anything. I bought myself the Ares amoeba as03 as I got a good deal on it. ( around £99 down from £150 )

I heard it was an easy wepon to upgrade and i wouldnt be massively bothered if where to break it.

I was just wondering if it would be possible for somebody to explain the most nessesary upgrade parts and what they do. I have looked online but have only served to confuse myself.
At the moment I was going to buy a new cylinder, sears, hop up unit and rubber with upgrade seals. (A good place to buy this kind of stuff from would also be appreciated)

any help or links to something that could help would be very much appreciated!!

I was also going to get a mapel leaf crazy jet barrel as I've been recommended this many times. My target fps would be between 400fps and 500fps but preferably a decent amount below 500 as I don't want to run the risk of a hot wepon

I wouldn't get a crazy jet. I prefer full steel barrels. They technically last longer and clean easier/safer. I'd grab a da vinci or lambda barrel.
