New TTI VSR10 Hopup Chamber

Over a year ago, I got myself the TTI VSR trigger system, and I was very impressed. My opinion was that it is the best trigger on the market. Anyway, I saw they had a new hopup chamber out and it looked as though it was really good value for money. So I got one. I have not seen any other reviews on this chamber and so I thought I would write one up.

You can get the hopup chamber from WGC

First Impressions
As most of you will notice, this looks very similar to the famed Action Army chamber. It is even the same colour. But this chamber is better for several reasons. Obviously, it has an external Top Dead Center hopup adjustment dial. This dial is very nice to use, and it makes changing your hopup a very quick process. The dial also has an allen screw that you can adjust to increase the tension of the clicks.

Another big difference is that the chamber also has a black rubber shock/sound absorber at the rear end of the chamber. This rubber shock/sound absorber has three purposes. The first purpose for the rubber absorber is that it can lessen the sound signature of your rifle. The reason it does this is because when the piston slams into the cylinder head, the cylinder head then slams into the hopup chamber. Thus, making a loud slamming noise. This can make a reasonable difference in volume on some rifles. So, it is well worth getting just for this reason. The second reason for the shock/sound absorber is to stop the hopup chamber from getting scratched from the cylinder head. And, lastly, it can reduce the vibrations that are carried through to the barrel. Thus, helping with accuracy.

True Top Dead Centre: Also, this comes with a proper Top Dead Centre. So, the nub comes down evenly compared to other brands of chamber.

Installation

1. Insert Drilling guide

2. Put the screw in that holds the drilling guide in the correct position and then drill through

3. Cut or file any burrs

4. Put black spacer guide over barrel and put bucking on. Then insert barrel assembly into chamber and tighten Allen screws on either side.

5. Put in the hopup nub parts (This is the Top Dead Centre Hopup. It Rocks)

6. Secure nub in

7. Insert Hopup assembly into outer barrel

8. Screw in mag well block and then put adhesive on outer barrel.

9. Push dial assembly onto sticker and screw in the dial.

10. Adjust hopup until accurate and you are done

Conclusion:
Installation took me about 15-20 minutes and was very easy. Anyone could do it and the instructions that TTI have made are very clear. The hopup is obviously very easy to adjust and the clicks as you turn the dial, are nice and precise too.

The volume of the rifle had dropped a bit as well. This made me very happy because when sniping, we all want to be as elusive as possible. In saying this, I do think that people will get varying results as different branded rifles and cylinders, can vary slightly in length or fitment.

The air seal I got from this chamber was excellent, and when installed, the accuracy was superb. With the external adjuster and the rubber sound absorber on the hopup chamber, I think that this has set the standard. Not to mention it is at a really good price compared to others. I know that there are a few other chambers coming out with the external adjuster, but none of them can lessen the volume of your rifle, and so, for this reason alone, I highly recommend this chamber over others.

Each to their own. I would go for the TTI hands down.
Also, one other thing, I do seem to be getting higher fps with the TTI. This may be because the air seal is better, or the bucking matched the chamber better. But in reality, I do not know but it is getting higher fps. (20-30fps)
The design is very, very, very similar to AA but it has extra better features.
I've just ordered one for my VSR 10 :) My AA with tridos recently has given me nothing but problems so its time for a replacement!

As I all ready have a hole in my outter barrel for the tridos do you think the tti adjuster wheel will line up in the same position or will I need to drill a new hole.
I hate you.

Just bought one to replace the stock chamber and GunSmithy TDC on my T-11..
The TTI chamber came today, first thoughts.

As I hoped I didn't have to drill a new hole into my outter barrel as the previous Tridos TCD hole matches up perfectly with the new chamber wheyy!
The chamber was super easy to install, I'm using a flamingo 2023 60 bucking and a 3d printed concave nub (Stalker clone) thats supposed to perfect fit into an AA chamber with no movement, again and with no surprise due to the simulaties with both chambers this nub fit perfectly into the TTI chamber. A MAJOR bonus was that with this chamber the flamingo bucking DID NOT need teflon tape to keep a seal, this chamber is a god send and the air seal is a 10/10!
As 1Tonne said previously the noise has been reduced thanks to the padded outter ring of the chamber where the cylinder head connects so another bonus.

I did have some trouble tho to begin with.
My mags would just not feed at all, no BB's were being loaded into the chamber, when I manually dropped BB's into the chamber they shot but with a very farty noise like there was way to much hop (this was with out the adjuster on)
I stripped the gun and tried a modify SSX 430mm barrel with the larger hop window and the first shot wouldnt load the BB into the chamber but after its fired every single time with no issues, its been fine since, so I can't say what fixed it!

I have a game on Sunday so I'll be taking the VSR with the TTI out along with my SRS and I'll give a propper review sunday evening!

Update: So it turns out for what ever reason this chamber did not like my RA tech 430mm inner barrel. Once I swapped it for the modify SSX it fed fine with zero issues.

Last Sunday I used the VSR 10 with the TTI chamber. amazing dead straight shots, It fixed my issues I was having before with the AA chamber and Trios TDC with constant left hand curves however I blame my old AA chamber rather then the trios TDC. If you're building or upgrading your VSR then the TTI chamber is a must have!

Sorry to spam the post. It turns out that the flamingo 2023 bucking was causing the issues with the RA tech barrel AND my AA barrel with the TTI chamber. I used the flamingo 2021 bucking instead and now both barrels work perfectly.
