I need to grease up my UTG MK96, and am wondering can I use this http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=695 on the cylinder and sears? (also, is there anywhere else I should put it?)

I would recommend using the all powerful white lithium grease to lube up the sears and exterior of the bolt. If its non-petroleum based, lube everything with it.

I go with the white lithium grease. I used to use air tool oil, but now I only use that on gas rifles. The white lithium is perfect for spring bolt action rifles.

Hardware store. I have been using the same tube for almost 2 years now.

thanks for the advice guys, but until I manage to get my hands on some of that stuff, I already have the Airsoft GI gear grease, and would like to know, can I use THAT on the exterior of the cylinder? I got some dirt and other random things on it and in the upper receiver, and I want to clean it out, but that would mean wiping all the grease off too. So can I use the CA Gear grease on the exterior of my cylinder, or just the sears?
