What Mosin meant to say was that you are looking to build a sniper rifle, not a sniper. Which is of course, a person.

Sounds interesting, I would think you would want something very, very consistent. So a gas rifle seems out of reach. You would also like something that is comfortable when shooting, so choose a rifle with a stock that you like the hold of.

I bet if you where able to get an HPA rig to fit on a Star AW338, then you would probably have one of the best shooters around, I know little on gas rifles, and the Star is no exception. So I would go have a look at Arnies, and ASCUK for more knowledgeable people.

You'll want to first look at hop up rubbers, BB selection, and barrels. This is where all your accuracy, or lack there of, will come from.
