Hello everybody!

Recently I have been thinking that it would be a good idea if I made some ASF patches. On a few of the other forums that I am on have started doing this and I think it is a good idea to kind of spread the word of ASF. Last night I did a quick sketch up of what I thought they might be able to look like. Before you respond saying that it looks bad, please take notice that this is my first time ever with photoshop. Now, I wasn't able to add this in the picture, but I was going to add the words Airsoft Sniper Forum around the outside of the crosshair equidistant apart. Also, the color to the left of the image is the color I was thinking about, but that could change at any moment. Pleas post your comments on what you think it should look like, if we should even have one, or any other changes that you would like to see made. Also, I would like to know the backing type you guys would prefer (velcro, sew-on, etc.)

I am no expert designer, but the leader for the best team around here(in my opinion, I really respect them and look up to them) ,Shadow Pack, once said that a patch or insignia must have a lot of representation and meaning. This is what he said about his patch/symbol:

"The three pawprints represent the founding members of Shadow Pack (the Bear, the Wolf, and the Cougar). It also represents their strengths, Bear=Strength / Solidarity, Wolf=Pack Loyalty / Cunning, Cougar=Speed / Stealth.

The three bars represent the colors of the American flag and everything that infers.

The shape of the patch represents a spear head, and that we strive to be at the front of the battle, the spearhead of an offensive push."

I am loving what songuru is coming up with. My vote is for the 'second' one; the one grouped below the NBA styled one. (or the variant with the rifle in it instead of the snipers silhouette)

But remember everyone, I really think we should take our time on decision making, get a larger pool of ideas and designs posted up that people like then vote on those.
