Hi guys,
I just got my pdi hop up and I am attempting to install it. but problem is its not fitting my piston. I accidentally over screwed it now the inside (just above the magazine bay) has groves from trying to get the barrel on far enough to insert it into the body but I'm hoping I haven't ruined it :shrug:.
Any suggestions on getting it to fit?

EDIT: so from what I'm seeing now the air nozzle is obviously to big should I file it down?

EDIT2: I slowly kept pushing my nozzle till it made it all the way through, and now it seems ok.

I had sort of the same issue, and then I realized the adjustment screws were blocking the cylinder head from entering the chamber. One fubar'd screw and a grooved cylinder head later, I have a working gun. And try adjusting the little plastic ring INSIDE the receiver, make sure the more rounded side is facing out, and the totally flat side is facing inside. I had the same issue with the barrel, just took some patience, fidgeting, and a lot of silicone spray to finally work.

Yeah I did that with the screw as well :lmao:

Not sure if I brought this up before but it's a problem I have been having off and on.
I mentioned my gun was hooking far right, and I thought I solved the issue but its back. here is a picture of the nub PDI gave me with my hop-up.
Is that the right shape? The reason I ask is because It doesn't want to seat properly when I pop it in the hop-up. Thanks guys!

Like I mentioned in another post, I found a nail that was roughly the same diameter of the nub/space needed. Cut it, sanded it, and I have not had any problems since. Like what lulukchoo was saying, from my experiences stiffness means consistency.. but I'm no expert.
