Who has heard about these? I just found them last night and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them.

I read a review on the hop-up and the guy was raving about its high levels of accuracy.

From what I've heard, there the parts that don't meet standard PDI quality and have lesser materials. Happened to a friends barrel vs a regular PDI.

PDI Raven series are made with the same technology as regular, just made with slightly lesser materials. They are probably cheaper than regular PDI because, 1. they use lesser quality materials, 2. because they didn't have to put money in research to make these. So they can sell them for a much lower price, but still with a good quality albeit lesser than regualer PDI.

I use a PDI Raven series barrel in my rifle and I love it!

Haven't heard anything about it. But I guess it's good quality, I might be buying it somewhere in the near future.

I'm wondering about that bucking. It looks like a pretty good design and since it's made by PDI, it's most likely made of high quality material. I know the FireFly design is a hit or miss situation mostly, but this looks like it has a different design, but the same concept.

You mean the W-hold bucking? I have it and combining it with a PDI hop up it performs excellent. The arms of the hop up work pretty well with the "W" in the bucking.

Thanks for the reply, that set-up sounds good. I wasn't sure if anybody would have this bucking yet because it seems new, or I have just never seen it.

I put a Raven Cylinder and Cylinder Head into my newest build last night. From what I've seen so far, they are very well built, no corners cut. I actually like the finish and quality better than my old Palsonite kit!

So is there a valid reason to bring a thread from 2011 back from the dead? No, their isnt in this case. Do I give you an infraction now, as necro posting is against forum rules? Or are you going to pay closer attention to the dates threads are active so this does not happen again?

To answer your question, if you want to downgrade from a top tier cylinder to a b-grade cylinder that your decision. Though I think you are stupid if you do.
