I'd go for the 1911.
Upsides:
-Comfortable to hold and aim
-Slim and pretty compact
-Fits well in most holsters
Downsides:
-Usually low ammo capacity per magazine (My old WE only held 10 rounds)
-The thinner magazines sometimes have problems with cool-down and don't hold a lot of gas
Mac11 is pretty bulky and hard to fit in holsters. You also run out of ammo pretty quickly if used in full auto.
I would suggest the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa. It's got the 1911 feel, but thicker magazines with hold a ton of gas and ammo. I believe they are compatible with the WE Hi-Capa extended magazines, which you can get that hold 50 rounds. You also can't beat the Tokyo Marui hop-up.
