I'm trying to remove my inner barrel to my UTG L96 and I've come to a bit of a roadblock. No matter how hard I push I cannot get my inner barrel out of the outer barrel. It won't even budge! I have completely removed the barrel section from the gun with no problems. I have disconnected the mag catch and removed the end cap. I've watched several disassembly videos for it and in every single one they just pushed it out with their thumb and then either a screwdriver handle or something similar with almost no effort. I tried to do it and put a huge ring in my thumb. I then tried again with gloves and put basically all of my arm strength into it and it still didn't move at all. I then tried pushing it with a screwdriver end and tapping it a bit but it still hasn't moved at all. Are there ways to loosen up the inner barrel so it will slide easier or is there another way to remove it that I don't know of? Quick responses are appreciated because my gun is currently in pieces on a cloth on my bedroom floor ;). Thanks in advance!

Oh! I just figured it out. Thanks for mentioning the hop up. I didn't have the hop up tightened in all the way so it was blocking the inner barrel from moving anywhere. I just got it out now.

Hand soap? I never thought you could use soap as a lube. Also I had one more little road bump once I started reassembling it. There was a piece of metal that was attatched to the trigger box that was stopping me from sliding my cylinder back into the reciever. It was spring loaded and I couldnt figure out how to get it back down. I ended up removing the trigger box, sliding in the cylinder, then putting the trigger box back on. This solved the problem but im worried if I try to do the quick release of the cylinder it will happen again then I will have to disassemble the gun again. Anyone know what caused this problem?
