Take a look in the trigger assembly, I would guess you have a worn part that is allowing the impact plate/valve knocker to ride that high.

Also, some nice pictures of the trigger assembly off the rifle, and how it looks in the receiver would be great.

Real blowback engines are Bullet Valve (BV).

Check out my sale thread, the CAR-15 kicks like a .22 (according to some guy at my field) and the Asahi is about the same.

The KC-02s are cool, but I have read they have some problems accepting higher pressures due to a weak striker spring or something.

Not worth it compared to BVs, trust me.

I have had a few, and not even the G&P WOC are worth it, the mags are even more expensive than Asahi mags, and yeah, there is recoil, but the hop unit is crap, and they can't shoot...
