I have been looking for a Prometheus 6.03mm barrel for my bar10 but have only found a 6.05mm barrel from them at ASGI and Airsoft AStlanta. Did they mislabel it, because I have never heard of Prometheus making 6.05s before, only 6.03s?

Laylax 6.03mm is the Prometheus one, isn't it? I thought Laylax and Prometheus were the same!

I didn't know that. I thought they were different companies. Is prometheus just Laylax's line of barrels?

Same company. Prometheus makes the ASH barrels, which are 6.05, and the 6.03 barrels. Laylax sells the exact same thing, but a lot of people don't realize they are the same, so prommy barrels are gone long before laylax barrels are.

So I could get a Laylax berrel, call it a Prommy, and no one would know the difference?

Laylax, prometheus and nineball are all the same company (afaik) but with a different purpose.

Not only would nobody know the difference, there is no difference. Same factory makes them, just different package.

Laylax=spring
prometheus=aeg
nineball=gas guns (also tm m7 if I remember correctly)

Ah, alright. Talk about not making sense. Three different company names for the exact same product. Even with different purposes for each name they could have just said "AEG Version" or something. Well That answers all of my questions, thanks guys.

Well, if nineball would get a reputation of bad quality (which it isn't), prometheus and laylax wouldn't, so it has a some sense.

Awesome I just found out I have a Prometheus barrel 6.05 555mm in my Tanaka! No wonder it was so awesome

I got it from redwolf, when other stores had Prometheus barrels all sold out I said "oh well, I'll go for the Laylax instead".
