This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Do action army hop up chambers only take AEG barrels? Or do they also take vsr10 barrels. Or is there even much of a difference between the two inners. Thank you!

Depends on which model chamber you are talking about. If its the VSR chamber then it only takes VSR buckings. If its the one of the SRS ones then its either. Though I would take a FAST chamber over the AA.

Also the AA type 96 chamber takes AEG barrels
