The gun tech who was working on my TM M14 tried putting a R-hop into it but was having problems. He said that he had to get the R-hop so thin that after a few round though it the R-hop "lost it's shape" and caused a jam. Has anyone else heard of this happening or did just make a mistake in the install? He has put an R-hop in successfully into his M4 so I doubt it's his skill but you never know.

It really does seem like there's a lot of room for error with installing these R-Hops unless you're an expert on it. When I decide to put on in my gun, I'll probably set aside a weekend to work through or just pay somebody to do it.

Thank you I figured he must have made a mistake even though he did it before. A M4 hop up is just a bit different then a M14 one.
