Right on.. Looks like were on the same page with it then.. on an M4 yeah, easier to get to etc... On my bolt action? Ehh, I'm good..lol.. All my screw holes would be stripped out by the time I have the r hop just right,haha.. So flat hop it is then.. I will start looking for whatever I may have to do this soon.
R hop or flat hop mod..
Has anyone here done the flat hop before? Please tell me something more about it.
I want to install an R hop in my M28 but there is no freaking way I wanna take apart my rifle about 20 times. I just dont wanna,lol.. So the next best option is either R hop my Sr25 cause the hopup is much easier to get to.. then when its perfect, take the barrel back out and put it in my M28? Would it be the same setting or would the different hopup and bucking make things different?
Also, since I just dont wanna fool with an R hop so much, would the flat hop just be the way to go?
I guess its safe to admit I am getting lazy in my old age,haha.. The R hop just seems like too much work! I dont wanna fiddle with it that much. I'm already getting 250ft or so with the stock bucking and excelent accuracy since I shimmed the hopup arm and did the Tdc.. Or should I not even bother since its already a pretty awesome rifle?

I figure there is a guide someplace, I googled it but I dont recall where I saw it at. Normally we have the info but on the flat hop, I'm not so sure we do. Airsoftforums.com usually has good guides.
As for the amount of screws, I have 3 body screws, then to unscrew the barrel, then take out the tdc screw, then the two screws that hold the hopup in place, then back it all out of the barrel.. and since I made inner barrel spacers its going to suck, just that much more,lol..

I know someone who sells the same thing but 6 patches for $8.50! Jonezys services. He is a good friend of mine and his patches are no different except the color. I got some and then somehow lost the baggie,hahaha.. I was thinking about getting more and then trying to set it up in my Sr, then when its right, install the barrel into my M28 and then do the Sr again but leave that one in. Still unsure right now.
