Just to put my 2 cents in the pile.

I am currently using the "Flat Hop Mod" thank you starfolder!
Next I am going to try the R-Hop and see if I get different results or something near the same but only after I upgrade my M14. (This reminds me I need to post that)

If you need someone to test your homemade nubs I would be happy to supply my TM M14.


As for the R-Hop it seems quite nice and I have heard good thing. I will most likely try it once I have upgraded my gun.

I'm not sure if it's even possible to the M14? I thought that they used different cuts?

I didn't even think about the different barrel cut compaired to an AEG. I might have to talk to HS5 to see if the R-hop or ER-Hop would work for a M14.

I just read your updated post... This should be good!

Before you dive into the the testing. What is your default cacluations:
- Bucking (Type and Hard/Soft)
- Barrel (Prommy 6.03 x 550mm, Brass)
- BB (Type and Wt)
- Distance
- Accuracy

I ask this so we can base each patch from the default and each other.
All and all I am really looking forward to this.

With the outer barrel removed do you think you will get a lot of play @50ft on a 500mm barrel?
If so what about making a semi sandbag out of clothes to support the barrel while in prone.

Plus three buckings and barrels assuming you screw all but one of them up...which I seriously hope you don't do.
