What about a small piece of RC fuel line That stuff is fairly rigid while still rubbery enough to provide a ton of hop I would think.

I just got done reading the monster post over on the other forum..... and I am sure that I will do some more reading as well. And honestly I have done this to a few of my rifles long before anything was posted. I started cutting a longer window in my first boltie, and had great results. Just never really did it to any of my other rifles, because I figured other people were already doing this.

I think the only reason the barrels are "steped" like that in an LRB is the fact that the barrels are made off centered, rather than bent.

Though as long as you have a gradual curve of the inner barrel you should be able to negate the "step".
