Ok, I have these

Now, the amplifying souds work fine, as does the transmission, however I cannot recieve any audio from other radios. I only hear a click in the earphones when they press the button to talk. What could the problem be? Wiring, compatability, the ptt?

If you can instruct me I can do some soldering if thats the case (With the PTT)

To me it sounds like your headset is shot. Happened many times with me and headphones...

Well they are brand new, and the amplifiers work perfectly fine and play back audio. It's just playing other radios.

Grass note that EU frequencies and codding is different!!
You will speak with the other one but not with the rest of the team!!
I run onto this once!! And I found it .. the hard way!
Since then I didn't buy another PMR!!
I have an old Yaesu VHF/UHF

I think george means that the radio sents other frequencie than it listens, no? Then you could solve it by a radio that can only listen, or buy the same kind of radio, but one that has broken microphone.

Both of the radios work fine with each other. And other radios excluding midlands. It's just the head set and/or the PTT that is giving me troubles.
