Hi everyone,
So I just build my first VSR-10 and managed to figure out most of the problems on my own, but with this one I'm just clueless.
To start with the parts I used:
SCW Piston
SCW Spring Guide 9mm
Maple Leaf Zero Trigger
AA Teflon Cylinder+Head
And when it comes to springs i don't really know which one to use. Because i tried out 2 Novritsch springs and they seem to work just fine. And then I have a Rapax 2+ Spring, which magically just doesn't wanna work in this damn cylinder. So problem is that when i pull back the cylinder the sear doesn't catch the piston. My theory would be that when the spring is fully compressed it is too long. And therefore the piston can't reach the sear of the trigger.
I have searched the whole internet and could find one post about this issue. Tho the answers were all refering to the 45° trigger that person used. But in my situation I have used a 90° trigger of good quality. (I don't wanna cut the spring because i still wanna use it in my SRS so that would be out of the way)
And another question beside that is, how can i get rid of the spring twang? I tried to fill out all the space in the piston so that the spring has no wobble whatsoever and tried to wrap some electrical and ptfe tape around the spring guide to make the fitment as tight as possible and it still has this really loud and annoying twang sound for 2-3 seconds after the shot. Also putting a lot of grease on it didn't work as well. I have also made a sleeve for the cylinder out of some old plastic folder and that had no effect as well.
Any help woud be appreciated!
