My real M91/30 bought it from big 5 for $100. This was taken after i put on a long eye relief scope, considering getting a polymer stock and floating tje barrel

Beautiful. I would love to see more pics of her. I would definitely float the barrel and glass bed the stock if I were you. It's cheap, easy, and you can do it yourself. Also, I would look into trueing the action. If it were me, I would stay away from a polymer stock. The wood just looks and feels so much better. Plus, this is only your first Mosin.

What kind of scope did you use? May just be the camera angle, but it looks like you have a rather large objective lenses for a LER. Did the mount come with it?

the peep sight is out of the picture due to the scope mount. It's an ATI mount that installs into the rear sight base. The scope is an AIM Sports 2-7X32 LAR. Also, since it is a russian war relic, it has been aggressively used (luckily it is all matching numbers) and is counter-bored 1 1/2'' - 2'' from the muzzle. To fix this I'm going to cut about 3'' off the end and re-crown the muzzle. I'll work on those new pictures too.
That's some really nice looking wood on that rifle, I honestly would just leave the wood stock. If it had rough looking wood then it would make sense but IMO that rifle looks perfect as it is. The only way it could be better would be if you got an actual PU and had the Russian style turned down bolt handle, but that's just me. Coming from a fellow Mosin owner/lover.

i would get the PU/turned down bolt, but it doesn't have the proper markings for it to be a sniper rifle.

and another for your viewing pleasure. these are some interesting engravings in the butt stock, if anyone has any info on them, dont be afraid to relinquish it. sorry if im making to many posts, my phone only lets me post one pic at a time
