After playing this past weekend with some buddies of mine, an interesting point got brought up between us. As we were packing our gear at the end of the day, I noticed one of my friends resetting or undoing the hopup on his gun(or back at normal position with no hop). I asked him why he was doing that and he said because it's better for the bucking so it doesn't remain stretched, and keeps it "form". None of the other guys said they do that and nether do I, neither have I heard of someone doing it before.

So just out of curiosity, does anybody reset their hop to normal position after play?
Is it better for the bucking?

I would assume that as long as you have your hop up set the way you need to then even if it molds to the form of your nub then it should still be alright. I haven't ever followed that rule and I've never heard of anyone doing that before.

I bet he doesn't have a PDI hop up chamber >:D

If he does, then he's nuts lol.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking along the same lines, a big pain and too much fiddling to set it again.
Plus, it's not like you'd be able to squeeze out an extra few thousand rounds from a bucking by doing that.
