I have owned a Well MB02 for a long time, and decided to upgrade it. I bought a new sear set, and upgrade kit for about 80 bucks in total. The piston and spring guide did not fit the cylinder, so I sanded them down to the diameter of the stock parts.
With all these parts installed, I test fired only to have the bolt be locked back. I have tried using the old spring guide. It works for 5 shots then locks the cylinder forward and does not allow the gun to fire. I now realize that the MB02 and all Well VSR-10 models are terrible.
The piston and spring guide are sanded to a diameter of 20.95mm. I am just wondering if these would work in say a JG BAR-10. Or would I need to buy new parts? I am also considering selling these parts if possible, and just up and buying a A&K SR-25. All in all I just ask should I stick with the MB02 and try to make it work? Should I start over with a BAR-10? Should I just ditch the VSRs? And if I do get a BAR-10, will my sanded parts work? I am just curious to see what the typical piston diameter is as well. Thanks guys.
