Ok so my DMR recently started having issues, my bbs are curving to the right after about 100ft. I am using .25s but I am changing to .3s, my gun is shooting a solid 400fps and I have a Madbull Black Python 6.03 509mm tightbore installed. Any ideas? Also I'm looking to flat hop my gun and am looking for advice on what bucking to use, nub, etc. Also any thoughts on the ProWin hop up would be appreciated, looking to pick one of them up as well.

Thanks in advance.

Ideas:
  1. Are your bb's washed?
  2. Do your bb's have (inconsistent) air bubbles?
  3. Has your inner barrel recently been cleaned?
  4. Is your inner barrel misaligned with your hopup? The indent in the window will look angled to the right if it's the issue.
  5. Have you replaced the nub with a different one(i.e. handmade/shoddy aftermarket nub)? If the nub isn't perfect, it'll mess up the trajectory of your shots.
  6. Simplest of all, are you holding your gun level? Right handed shooters tend to tilt their weapons to the right, causing the backspin to be directed to the right.

Quick fix: If your shots curve consistently AND you use a scope to aim, you can simply rotate the scope until the crosshairs are lined up with the desired flight of the bb. This only works if your gun shoots straight when canted to the left, though. There was a video posted that described it much better, I'll try to link it in this post for ya ;)

EDIT: http://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/35-sidearms-optics-gear-accessories/13649-scope-setup-new-way.html

This wasn't the first post about this, but it still links the video that describes the bucking to scope alignment.

1. No
2. No
3. Yes
4. Not sure, I'll check tomorrow
5. I had it replaced because my nub fell out of my hop up (not idea how), that could be the issue
6. And yes I am holding my gun level.
