Hello guys,
My question would be that I have bought a fully upgraded springer Kar 98k from Swit Airsoft. Here in Hungary the maximum limit for sniper rifles is 600fps and I’d like to upgrade it from 500 fps. The question is that it would withstand that energy and if the answer is yes which parts would you recommend to buy?
In adwance thank you very much for the answer, have a nice day!

1) Make an intro post. It's forum rules.
2) I'm fairly sure that the Kar98 uses vsr10 springs. Not 100% but pretty sure. It should be able to withstand 600 fps, but again, I'm not 100% sure. I would recommend trying the Rapax Hulk spring.
3) The difference between 500fps and 600fps manifests as a very small range gap, perhaps 5 metres. In my book, this is not worth the extra stress on the gun. In fact, a number of people on this forum, believe that past a certain point, the power of a rifle becomes detrimental to the accuracy.
4) Why is a discussion on a spring rifle in the HPA section? HPA refers to rifles powered by air from a tank, not air compressed by a spring.

View attachment 18276 I would expect that you can do 600 FPS, but I wouldn't really recommend it.
I would suggest that you put in a Rapax 2J spring, a Maple Leaf 2021 85° MR-hop, spring spacers, and maybe experiment with weighting your piston to gain power.
Also use BB weights like .45, .46, .48, .49, and .50 as BB weight is more important than power past a certain point.
You should also chrono in joules with the BB you plan on using with the hop up set for that BB as it is easier for people to understand since there's way less room for error.
500FPS is 2.32J and 600FPS is 3.34J, so I'd recommend trying to be at about 2.8J-3.1J if you can get there.
Here's some images of the trajectory of 600 FPS and 500FPS
