I have been looking for a scope camera for a while now, and cannot find one that I like. I am looking for one in the free-$200 range, I would just like a good enough performance that I can prove that I hit someone. Any help is appreciated.

You could also check those out, they even have night vision capabilities if you have some kind of IR flashlight. Their prices are great too! They have a scope mount available for it as well. The only downside i see, is it wont have a zoom feature, so you may not be able to zoom into the targets and see the bb's hitting the target on footage. You will have to zoom in afterwards using your editing software, which will also lower the quality of the footage.

But personally, for your price range, I think its a great option. They are small and easily concealable too!

Ahhh, IC. Well, then your talking about something out of your price range. Your best bet is to mount the camera on top of the scope, then layer the crosshairs over the footage in your video editing software. Then it will still look like a scope, but it will done post in your editing software.

If you want to see the bb hit them then you need about 15 to 20x optical zoom on the thing. I tried having the camera actually looking through the scope but this was never satisfactory for me. Either the alignment was messed up or the difficulty of making the shot looking at the video screen in the heat of the moment was too much.

I highly recommend mounting the camera on top like this:

With this method any decent hand held with optical zoom will work, do not use digital zoom, it is like zooming in on a picture on your pc, and gets pixelated.
