I read a thread on another forum, where a player is zeroing in, testing and grouping his shots from a distance of 34'-5" (?) I'm not a member of that forum, so I thought I would ask my question here; at what distances do you sight and zero your scope?

34'-5" seems an odd distance, almost makes me want to sign on to that forum and inquire about the precise distance he has decided to zero in his rifle.

Is there a rule of thumb with regards to airsoft?

At 34'-5" a player won't even need a scope... he can just throw a handful of bbs at his target. "Safety Kill!!"

In the past, I have zeroed my Air rifle (FT rifle) scopes to 40 yards, and most recently I have zeroed my airsoft scopes to 100'
