Sheriff APS2 Hop-up unit

Can anyone tell me about the Sheriff APS2 hop-up unit? I have the option to buy one, but I'm not sure that bucking is available since it's so old, and it apparently uses an odd bucking. Apparently you can adjust the hop-up both vertically and horizontally.
How does it perform?
Does anyone know how I can get/make the bucking for it?
Is it worth the trouble?

I would be very grateful for any help with this.

Are those the KM type that adjust from top?

Apparently they're the ones with two adjustment screws. I'm not sure if they're related to the KM ones, but I think not.

Do you have a link to where you found this? It echoes familiarly, but I can't quite recall the specifics.

I do recall it being kinda picky and irritating to get working 100%, but once you did, hoo boy.

Sadly I don't have a link, but a guy here who has a really nice collection is selling it, and apparently it's mint. I believe it comes with a 361 mm TBB (He makes it sound like it's a matched set).

That makes sense, I would be willing to bet the hop cut for that thing is funky as hell.

I can't find any info on it, but I do remember that it was pretty useful and similar in design to the PDI hop unit. It was also a royal PITA to get working, but working was fantastic.

Thanks cheese! I've decided against it, because of the lack of new hop-up rubbers, and that the barrel is too short.
