Seeing as you're already a KWA owner, and you seem to be moving away from it, I might sound a bit foolish to recommend my setup. I either run my KWA P226 or my KWA MP7 as backup, with few problems at all. I tend to run my MP7 more, simply because I'm a new sniper and I'm still getting used to using my rifle. However when I have my MP7 slung and in the dump pouch I can easily crawl and move around with my rifle.
You also get some significant firepower. Unmodded, my MP7 hits 400fps at 1200rpm no problem XD
I guess if you want something smaller though, the TM desert warrior is an excellent choice, provided you are in a somewhat desert environment.
