What he was saying is the inner barrel needs to almost reach the end of the silencer.

Sounds like an "AEG'er" trying to talk "sniper" some people like to use a silencer to cover an extended barrel. If the barrel runs the length of the silencer it will not silence the rifle! Read in the tall grasses "silence your gun post" theres some cheaper ways to be quiet!
