Greetings from Romania! I have an L96 with 90 trigger, airsoft pro cylinder, action army hop up and 6.02 precision barrel. I struggle to find the right material for the cylinder to make it more silent. Do you have any tips on how to make it more silent? Thank you!

I would suggest sticking a sorbo pad on the back of the cylinder head. Unfortunately due to the design of the l96 cylinder head and the reasonably small market for parts I could not find an airbrake piston for it.
Stuff the empty parts of the stock with socks or something (cotton wool, modelling clay and certain other materials work).
Match the correct barrel length with the cylinder (I think around 300mm. Help people who know more about this!) and then fill in the rest of the barrel with an integral supressor. Essentially foam or even better scotchbrite inserts. If you are usin foam cut baffles into it.
Stick a Novritsch supressor on it or make your own.

I need a little more information, if that's ok. What FPS is the gun shooting? How long is the barrel? How strong is the spring? Do you have barrel spacers?
That'll help determine what works best to quiet it down. :yup:

My L96 shoots 460 FPS with .25 bbs, it has full action army upgrades, has a very smooth pull and return, it is also very quiet as I cut the outer barrel down by 150mm, rethreaded it and added a foam filled suppressor onto it, the inner barrel is about 400mm as I had one lying around. Not sure if the cylinder barrel ratio is correct but it has a accurate range of 270ft, measured with a tape, using 46 bbs. Doing the rethreading was a struggle as I has the tap but had to do it by hand as I had no lathe and the drill I had was to powerful to control easily
