Hello fellow snipers,

I'm a keen semi newbie to the sniping world.
I can be found sneaking around my local site which is NCIS Scotland.
Currently building up my new chameleon 2 piece ghillie to suit our woodland site.
Been airsofting for 2 years now and have definitely caught the bug big time!
Currently have a s&t SVD and a TM M14 dmr project on the go.
Looking fwd to learning plenty of tips and getting plenty of advice from the senior snipers on the forum.

I play at fife wargames and a fair few people from there have gone through to play at NCIS.
I have never managed to make it through there myself yet

The SVD is a great gun out of the box, we have had a few members buy them recently. If you go for one - change the bucking once you get it ( supplied ones a bit iffy) and just relax and enjoy the cheesy grin of satisfaction.

Please remember thats its not a real sword svd replacement, but its great for a skirmishable SVD rather than a 'wall hanger'!!
Great quality for the bucks.

Welcome to the forum. The SVD is a very nice rifle, I like mine, I don't use it over my 96 but I still like it.
