Hey all I am posting to ask about the compatability between these 2, I have been doing extensive searching and have yet to find anything less than an ambiguous answer. I have already ordered one, as well as a prometheus barrel for it. I have already upgraded practicly everything short of the trigger mech in the m24 (cylinder head, spring guide, piston, piston head) which were all aps2 compatible. So if it isn't I geuss ill just have to but an aps2 or clone of it or even just the guts of one as I am building an SV98 stock for these parts to go into anyway. Please let me know if any of you know for cirtain weather it will or will not fit. Thank you

There I fixed the main post for you..... that is why we have a Spell Check button at the bottom of the message box ;)

Nelson come one..... be nicer to the op... it isn't that hard to understand what he is trying to say.

As far as I know that most of the parts in these rifles are APS2 compatible. So if the hop chamber was made for the APS2 then you should be good to go. But always know that when a company clones another rifle, they don't always get everything correct.

There is a fairly good chance that you are going to have to do some work to either the outer barrel, or the chamber itself, to get it to not only work, but fit into the rifle.

Ok Woogie covered that. But sorry I really didn`t understand what you were trying to say. I don`t care for grammar. I have crappy grammar. Basically a recap. The gun is a clone it is not the real deal. Expect that you may have to mod the parts to fit. All about trial and error for clones.
Ok thanks for the reply guys, I was assuming I would have to do a little tinkering. I also do apologize for the crappy grammar in the first post, I was typing that on my non smart phone and which did not support the spell check on the forums.
The M24 hop up will not fit the JW/SW M24. The APS2 may fit but as the pictures I'm looking at it has a bull barrel, and the hop-ups already fit pretty snugly in my M24 which is bull barreled while all the SW/JW have tapered barrels.
That could be a very good thing, its easier to take material away than to add it. So if it is indeed a very snug or tight fit I will sand it little by little then polish it until it fits perfectly. Only way to tell I guess will be to tinker with it when I get the parts next week hopefully. Again thanks guys for the quick and informative replies.

Worst comes to worst if I do make my own new barrel for the sv98 in my friends CNC shop I can make it to the exact specs of an APS2 barrel if I am able to borrow one or buy one.
I got the chamber yesterday. It was a little to small in diameter and the hole for the set screw didn't line up with any holes on the barrel so I had to drill one out. Luckily I still had my solid wax full barrel length barrel spacer to line it up for me. I ended the day with it fully installed. It is feeding mags and firing, but I didn't have any sunlight to see how well it was firing, Ill have to leave that for another day. For all I know its a tiny bit canted and its firing like 90 degrees to the right or left.

Has anyone else have a problem with adjusting the hop up though? I found the allen key provided was not long enough to adjust without taking the magwell out.
