Fairly sure the KTW's are discontinued, so fitting a Bar10/VSR into a M1903 stock would be your best bet unless you miraculously find a KTW for sale.

Though for a project, maybe a KJW might be a better choice. I wouldn't want to spend a lot on a Tanaka, buy upgrades AND a 1903 stock. That would probably end up being a fair amount of money, whereas a KJW would be significantly less.

I don't think it'd be particularly hard to do, it would just take some time and effort.
