Hey again. I'm deciding to wait on the tac 41 until it actually shows the beat down on a built up ssg. But I'm hoping to order the srs next week. A few of you saw my ssg discussion about fps and bb weight limitations. I now have access to run what I want for bbs at a cap of 425 fps with that bb weight. So I'm wondering which srs model to get. The 16 or 22 covert? I know with high fps and joules I don't need a real long inner barrel, but with the hulk spring and say .48 bbs which model is going to be a better option?

Only the 16" called covert the 22 is the basic srs variant, without a given name to it

The 16" will do anything you need at any J level, if you prefer the look of the 22" go for it, but it wont increase performance in any means.

My current build gives 3.8J on silverback m170, imo with .48 bb completely pointless to go over that energy.

The TAC41 is really good I can recommend it wholeheartedly.
For higher joules the 22 inch would make life easier (since the longer the inner barrel the greater the time of acceleration, which the SRS definitely has the volume to prevent a reverse Joule creep) but the 16 inch could definitely do it as well with a beefy spring.
