Now, I just received my SRS 16" a couple days ago, and let me say, the muzzle pop, spring twang, and piston noise is out of hand. Does anyone else have this issue? Note: I did install a Maple Leaf M170 and it is way louder with that compared to stock. Now, it has a pretty alright seal out of the box, I put my finger on the end and the piston will leak some air but it will be quiet. About 5 seconds to lose all of the air. Will a mock silencer make it worse, and same with the r-hopped lambda 6.01+Modify bucking, will that increase sound. If anyone has any solutions they are highly appreciated as my gun is unfieldable at this noise level.

Also my fields limits are 550 fps for snipers with 100ft engagement distance. Normal is 400 fps semi only no engagement distance. Yes I will make an Intro Post when I have time

Muzzle pop - get a suppressor
Piston slap - get an airbrake
Spring Twang - get a better spring (Rapax) or get a Faceless VRAG which adjusts to compensate for the twang. I'm experimenting with thin wall heat shrink at the moment instead of a VRAG and whilst it works it isn't adhesive so am struggling to keep it still.

The SRS in general is a quiet platform, mine with a SBA M160, SBA airbrake and SBA DTSS is amazingly quiet.

I'm shocked yours is that loud. I know it seems super loud when firing it because everything is right next to your face but you need to stand off at a distance and have someone shoot it so you can hear it, my SRS, which is mostly stock and what is upgraded is Silverback parts, cant be heard until you are about 30 feet away.

The mock silencer does make it louder yes
