My worst screw strip was the screw in my RS SVD hop chamber adjust. I had to buy a whole new chamber! ($30) just for the one screw!
But there have been other times when I just have to improvise (stripped a thread for a screw in my DSG box, so I wrapped it in teflon tape and now I treat it very gently
