What internal components mods etc. make ultimately best performance on rifle. Which give best feel on the moment of fire, gives the best range and stability to flight path, gives the best accuracy, makes the gun silent, bolt pull easier etc.!

VFC M40A5.

Being a gas gun, or provides a much more realistic experience when it comes to bolt handling and trigger pull.

It also has springer-like consistency, unlike all other gas BASRs, and adjustable power from 300 to 700 FPS which means you can set t to any field rules in just a minute. And it creeps quite well, so you can JC if feel allowed (and if you want to) to outreach each and every gun on the field, or use the adjustement to keep it at strict limits.

It carries VSR style buckings and barrels, so it can use the typical Maple Leaf combo, which provides the ultimate accuracy and range.

And it's dead silent.

Seriously, that gun is a beast. Might be a little heavy for some, specially when compared to the toyish feeling VSRs and such, but I'm all for realism so that's a plus to me.

IMO the cool elite dudes get all the special Operator bonuses. Sometimes they even get their own damned f*cking radio channel. Field-assigned radio messages are awesome but I shouln't be able to be their go-go-gadget, i am not thin enough now.
What the hell does that have to do with what makes the ultimate rifle????

So, is it the power, or the precision? Stealth? Or do you get the most kills by outranging opponents?

And sure, I know you're not usually going for the killcount, so what is it that you want in a gun that will get you the most important kills?

Or do you just like to rattle shots around their heads and let the assault team rush them while they're scared?

The sniper behind the rifle is what makes the ultimate rifle.

Ok sure, i know that's not the answer you are looking for, but it's 100 percent true. You can have a less than perfect rifle, not great equipment, so so cammo and no dedicated radio channels (hehehe) but if you know your gun, i mean really really know it people will look at your POS MB-01 and think it was FedEx'ed straight to your door by Odin himself (yes that is a thors hammer reference for anyone who didn't get it)

So, that leads to the answer you are actually looking for.... what makes the ultimate rifle??

C O N S I S T E N C Y

If your rifle shoots 10m or 100m if its consistent and you , as the sniper, know how your rifle shoots then you have the ultimate rifle on the field. Oh, and i don't mean 1 MOA at 100 yards either, im not talking about accuracy. If your rifle shoots consistent 2 foot groups at 100 ft, but tends to average most shots a little left and up and flexes when you hold the stock a certin way etc.... see what im getting at.

I took out a UHC Super 9 one day just to prove this point. Sure , i messed with it a bit ahead of time, but more importantly i put 1000 round though it in my back yard. What happened? I won....
Why? Because I'm the sniper, not my rifle. ;-)

So when you build, build for consistency, and when you train, train a lot and use that consistency to your advantage .

agree with arcangel... consistency.

Shoots straight, check
Shoots far (enough), check
Quiet, check
Doesn't break, check
Fits me, check

done.
