I've looked through just about every website I could think of for the Tanaka 29 rd long magazine, but they just seem to be out of stock. Have any of you bought one recently, or know of any site that still has any left?

I added it to the cart, if it was out of stock it would have said so there. $95 is big blow to your wallet though.

Little tip: Try the smaller companies, they often have parts that other companies don't because they don't get as much buisness.

Also 2/3 companies are outside the US. Be prepared to pay some heavy shipping costs.

This has helped greatly! I knew of it being in stock at evike, but it's usually a gamble with them about the item being on "pre-order." It also says it's a special order item which will probably take a while, not to mention the high price.

The other sites look good. Can you vouch for either one of them? I haven't heard too much about them. Would you go with shooter city or tokyo-model if you had to choose? I will be planning on ordering within the next few days.

Thanks also Dutton. I had a few buddies that had the same situations happen to them a couple times. I try to stay away from evike if at all possible.

I've looked into that because they look very similar, but I thought I read somewhere that they weren't compatible. I'll do a little more research on it tonight and edit this post once I find out some more opinions.

Edit: I found a thread with a bit of information, but all it says is that it's too wide. I'm not sure how wide though, if it's just slightly, then mateba's filing idea could workout well, but if it's a good bit wider then it may not work.
