Tanaka m24(m700) trigger problem

1771 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  mosin
I recently bought a Tanaka m24 SWS used and it had been working great until yesterday when I started having a problem.

Problem:
The trigger "pulls" by itself after the bolt is pulled back and cocked back forward. If I physically hold the trigger forward while doing the action the trigger will stay for a few seconds and then again, fire on its own.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Streetkill

hello, I have the same problem. Did you solved it somehow ?
Sounds like a stripped sear. My advice is get a new Trigger Assembly or see if you can't get a new sear kit. I tried googling for about a quick 2 minutes and didn't find anything, but I'm sure if you check Trinityairsoft or AirsoftGI or Redwolf you shouldn't have a problem finding it, or at very least, finding a replacement trigger assembly.

Also, I saw you posted the same question on AirsoftForum. Listen to the advice that guy gave you, he's dead on.
