Does anyone know where I could get a trigger mechanism striker spring?

Right before I finish my Varmint M700 I manage to snap the spring in two and I can't find any parts for it.

If you have a spare-part or an actual trigger mechanism or know where to get such a part PM me.

Thanks!

I saw one a while back, I'll see if I can find it.

In the meantime, you could try finding a used/broken KJW M700 for cheap. I doubt that the lesser build quality will matter for that spring.
Bump.

mroverkill I appreciate it.

Not prepared to spend the money for a complete rifle when all I need is a spring :/
I looked for a while and couldn't find it, if I were you I'd browse all the HK sites I can think of.

KJW's aren't that expensive, if you're lucky they can be had for $100 or less. You also have an entire other rifle.
Ask tanaka if they sale spares. The worst they can is not reply.... Which is very common policy at Airsoft companies!

I would love to but their contact us message says that 1 letter is Too Long to be sent. Its laughable like they don't want to be contacted.
Go over to Arnie's and make a post in "General Discussion" that you're looking for someone in Japan, and explain him what you need.
I've done than and there was responce!!

Delete a punctuation character. They probably won't notice.
Hello, I has today the same problem with the spring, for me was the simpliest way recourving of V3 anti reverse spring, it goes without any problem, I can make some pics if you wanna to see it.

Crater, can you pm me those pictures also.

Necro-so-hard: Worth noting that when you fix a problem, it's nice to make it public; i'm currently wondering what to do with the same tiny spring broken in the same way...

I'll be going to the hardware store tomorrow to fix it one way or another. If i have to, i'll be bending wire to reproduce the function- it's not an extremely precise or complex part.
The solution:

Go to your hardware store and acquire piano wire or similar spring steel (it's perfect for crafting springy-parts- imagine that!) of the correct diameter. Cut it to a reasonable length to work with. Shape it appropriately. Trim it appropriately.

Like so:
