Thanx guys
Cheez; yeah surprisingly the RS Leupy holds a dam good zero for 36g BBs out to 300ft.
that "orange thingy" is called a Breech Block, it inserts into the Rifles chamber so you know there is NO round in there

Zero;
Specs for the Real Steel AR-10.. 900yds w/ Black Hills 175g BTHP, not a problem
the CA AR-10.. well... wish I could hit just 900ft, let alone 900yds...
She stands at; 253ft / 76yds @ 342.2fps w/ madbull 36g BBs, hitting a mansized target.
I can get more distance but the BBs energy is pretty lost beyond that. the 36g have a hard ht feel then G&G25g bios...

internals on the CA AR-10:
stock CA torque Gears
System M150 spring
Madbull TB 6.01 ( 509mm )
again, I TRUST and use MADBULL BB's

Thread taped the cylinder head and to the bore
Hop-up is stock, w/ a prom red bucking
and I thread taped the unit to the barrel, thats it.

I found the Javalins to be kinda "wishy-washy" out beyond 250ft, alot of zingers

Have you thought about potentially dropping in a Polar Star gearbox?

1- only if you're gonna buy it for me

2- the AR-10 /SR-25 AEGs ( CA, G&P and some others ) use a V2 long type Gear box
which means, unlike the G&G which uses a standard V2 w/ a long Hop up, i think it isnt possible

But I am not all to familiar w/ Polar Star, as I've been outta the Airsoft loop for 2-years and just got back into it

I am still waiting and waiting and waiting on Systema to make the AR-10 / SR-25 PTW YOU FUK TERDs, come-on hurry up
