I want a TDC for my action army chamber, but don't want to spend a ton of money. My budget is $50 or under(parents :/)The one made by Edgi seems to be the most budget friendly at $30. But i haven't seen any info on it. If anyone on here owns one or has used one, I want to know, clearance, installation, and if the adjustment works well and is precise.

(also if anyone has a TDC you'd be willing to sell or know a cheap D.I.Y. method that's NOT a grub screw then please let me know)

Thanks in advance :)

Why not take a grub screw, drill a hole right above, put in a screw thread and use it. Functions the same as buyable TDC mods and is way cheaper and easier.
I literally said not a grub screw. I don't want to have to use an allen key to adjust. I'm fine with paying more to get a TDC that has its own adjuster built in.

Nut and screw or scope turret are the best budget ones in my opinion. Only thing I don’t like is the ghetto way of attaching it. It will be solid though. I also agree with tridos being one of the best. You can get it low pro and clicky, hard to beat. I get it though. You want cheap. I’d be willing to do a nut and bolt one for free if you send your parts and cover return shipping. But it’s so easy you can do it.

I'm using edgi tdc. it works well. for DIY installation you have to drill it precisely or you can message edgi on Facebook they will send you a video for installation, if you order an outer barrel from edgi you can request it to be pre-drill. I use epoxy to hold and prevent movement of my tdc to my outer barrel.
